It's time the world comes together to stop u.s. government manipulation of the world bodies. This bullshit move to ban Russia from the winter olympics is 'punishment' for Russia interfering with their plan to tear down Syria. They had milllions, poosibly billions riding on overthrowing Syria. It's time to limit the U.S. government's influence and power to only within the borders of the U.S.onl yfor the short time remaining that they will have it. MOSCOW — Prominent Russians expressed anger, despair and resentment on Wednesday after the International Olympic Committee’s decision to ban the Russian Federation from the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.
The ban is a historic act of punishment for widespread doping among Russian athletes that Olympic officials believe was supported by the government.
It was a body blow for a nation that prides itself on its sporting prowess and was ecstatic over its victory in the 2014 Winter Olympics medal count. Just four years later, the Russian Federation’s count will be zero, and the country is considering a boycott.
Mikhail Gorbachev, the former Soviet leader celebrated in the West for helping end the Cold War, called the IOC decision “outrageous.” The decision would ban Russia’s flag and anthem but allow individual athletes to compete under a special designation, as Olympic Athlete from Russia (OAR).
“It’s just bad, and that’s it,” Gorbachev told the state sport news agency, R-Sport. “It’s sport, damn it.”

I had the displeasure of working for Amazon at their Obetz Ohio warehouse around September. At first I liked the job coz' after so long without a decent job I was glad to have anything. Well from the start it just tanked like a sub that hit by a torpedo. The young managers there felt like they could talk to me any kind of disrespectful way. They did everything but call me the n'word. And I could tell they really wished they could. Wasn't just the management either, but it was mostly them. They kept riding me the whole time I was there claiming I wasn't doing the work right. You see I was older than all of them and they wanted me to act like those other older blacks who were kissing their asses and thought it proper to prostrate themselves to kids who should have been showing them proper respect for a pay check. I needed a pay check too, but not at the expense of my dignity as an older man and a human being. I was shocked to see how racist they were at this place and nothing was being done about it. I should have known something was up when I saw that none of the managers were black and the other blacks knew what time it was but ignored it. I couldn't though coz' I was a man and where I'm from kids show proper respect to their elders. My manager some racist young female made it a point to fuck with me everyday trying every way she could to humiliate me and degrade me. When I told one of the other staff members I intended to go to HR on her they transferred her quickly to their Detroit operation or somewhere in Michigan. I'm sure they'll have a 'memory' lapse as it seems that was the kind of racist games they played. Then they got the next girl working on me. She would come to me and tell me that some other staff member had complained about me. She thought it was funny when I would ask who it was and she would give me some bullshit assed story that she couldn't tell me. Now if she can't tell me who this accuser was, why was she telling me about some alleged accusation. She would laugh about it as if something was so very funny. I would tell other Blacks who worked there about it, of course you can't tell a worm to stand up coz' it doesn't have a backbone. Well I searched onliine for the Amzaon office so I could report this racist nonsense that was going on here, but I didn't find anywhere where I could report to management about what was going on in this Obetz facility. I couldn't find anywhere. Coz' I waned to tell them that they needed to reconsider building their next big facility here in Columbus Ohio and they needed to go down here to Obetz and take a look at what the management here is doing. They were hassling me everyday and so I just decided not to go back and checked with quite a few lawyers to see what kind of lawsuit I could file. The problem is that the mangement of Amazon could claim they didn't know what was going on which I find is bullshit! I would remind Amazon too I am or was a customer of theirs too an so this is how you treat your customers. Since I don't have a job now thanks to these racist bastards who run your Obetz facility I have plenty of time on my hands to work on organizing a nationwide boycott of your company! Support your racist staff there. We'll see what your bottom line looks like when I manage to get millions of African Americans to boycott your company. I spent quite a bit of money with you, but there are other places I and others can go to spend our money since you employ people who have no respect for older people and African Americans! Suit yourself!

(CNN VAN) Community visits makeshift memorial for missing 3-year-old Mariah Woods.
Saturday Onslow County Sheriff Hans Miller announced that law enforcement officials have found what appears to be the body of missing three-year-old Mariah Woods.
Woods mother's live-in boyfriend Earl Kimrey, reported her missing Monday morning after putting her to bed in their Jacksonville home the previous night.
Kimrey was being held on more than $1 million bond at the Onslow County Detention Center following his arrest for concealing a death, obstruction of justice and other charges, the Onslow County Sheriff's Office said.
The news was announced that a Fayetteville dive team made the discovery Saturday evening in Shelter Creek along Shaw Highway in Pender County.

Caitlyn Frisina, 17, was found on Friday, according to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, which tweeted the news. More information about how or where she was located wasn't immediately available. It wasn't clear whether she was with the coach, Rian Rodriguez.

According to a missing persons report, Frisina left her home in Lake City through her bedroom window, taking some clothes and her wallet but leaving her cellphone, which had been erased of data. Police said in the report they obtained a text message the girl sent to a friend that indicates she is with Rodriguez and that there "may be a relationship" between Frisina and the coach.
Sheriff Mark Hunter said Wednesday Rodriguez is a friend of Frisina's family and is the assistant coach on the boy's soccer team at her high school, which Frisina's father coaches. The Columbia County School District has since suspended Rodriguez.

"She's with a person who is 10 years her senior in a supervisory capacity over her as a coach," Hunter said. "She is legally a juvenile. Although she's 17 years old, she's still unable to consent by law."
Hunter said Rodriguez faces possible criminal charges of interference with child custody and could face further charges depending on what the investigation yields.
Her parents had issued an emotional plea for her return. Her mother, Scarlet Frisina, told CBS News' Meg Oliver she believed Rodriguez manipulated the teen.
"I know that she to some degree left on her own. But I absolutely believe that she was lied to and totally misled," Scarlet Frisina said.

A pregnant woman who was allegedly set on fire by her boyfriend in Maryland gave birth seven weeks early to a baby girl, reports said.

Laquinn Phillips, 34, is accused of setting his girlfriend, Andrea Grinage, 30, on fire during a domestic incident just before 12 p.m. Friday at their apartment in Capitol Heights, FOX5 DC reported. Grinage banged on neighbors’ door looking for help, suffering from severe burns throughout her body.

"She was very brave," Prince George's County police spokesperson Jennifer Donelan said. "We want her family to know how brave she was, suffering as badly as she was, critically burned, worried about her unborn child, dealing with those injuries and was able to share that information with us so that we could get moving with our investigation and locate this person."

Police said they could see smoke billowing from the second and third floors of the apartment building.
Grinage went into early labor when she was rushed to the hospital. She and her newborn girl are in critical condition, the victim’s mother told the news station.
Phillips was arrested after he turned himself in. He faces charges including first and second-degree attempted murder, arson and assault.

South Carolina authorities search a wooded area Thursday for missing toddler Amir Jennings, who vanished in November.

Authorities in South Carolina searched intently Thursday for a missing toddler who was last seen nearly two months ago, and whose pregnant mother has been charged with cruelty toward a child.

Columbia police Chief Randy Scott told Vinnie Politan, of CNN's sister network HLN, that law enforcement launched their search for Amir Jennings after receiving what they considered "a credible tip."

Officers from multiple agencies -- including the FBI, Richland County Sheriff's Department, Columbia-Richland Fire Department and Columbia police -- scoured an 8-square-mile area near a small rural church, said Jennifer Timmons, a spokeswoman for Columbia police.

"We were able to go to the area to do a grid search," said Scott. "... And fortunately, it did not turn up anything."

Amir Jennings was 17 months old when he was last seen with his mother, Zinah D. Jennings, 22, around Thanksgiving, police said.

Family members became concerned when they could not contact Jennings or the child, and a missing-person report was filed in early December, police have said.

On Christmas Eve, police said, Jennings had a car accident and the responding officer recognized her name.

The officer repeatedly asked Jennings where her child was, and she allegedly gave "false and inconsistent information," police said. A warrant was issued on December 29.

According to a police report, the mother made "cryptic" phone calls to family members, indicating her ongoing fight with depression was continuing.

This week, Zinah Jennings' attorney Hemphill Pride II filed a motion asking for the court to consider a reduction of the $150,000 bond. The lawyer said in the motion that his client "emphatically denies she is guilty" of the cruelty to children charges and that she is not a flight risk.

The motion cites a court-ordered report from Dr. Michael Ferlauto that claims Zinah Jennings is "mentally ill" and lacks the "insight or capacity to make responsible decisions with respect to his/her treatment."

Also, according to the motion, Zinah Jennings is pregnant.

"It's shocking, disappointing," Scott said of the case. "Right now, she's not even giving law enforcement anything on her son, her precious son that is missing at this time. And she is expecting again."

Conyers hospitalized, Pelosi calls on him to resign

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and other top House Democrats on Thursday increased the pressure on Rep. John Conyers, who is facing multiple accusations of sexual misconduct and a House Ethics Committee probe, by calling on him to resign from office.
Pelosi's comments are a stark turnaround from her stance on Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press" when she praised the Michigan Democrat as an "icon," questioned who his accusers are, and said the ethics probe should be allowed to go forward.
"Congressman Conyers should resign," Pelosi told reporters on Thursday.
"The allegations against Congressman Conyers, as we've heard more and more since Sunday, are serious, disappointing and very credible," she added. "It's very sad. A brave woman came forward...Zero tolerance means consequences for everyone — no matter how great a legacy is no license to harass or discriminate."

Pelosi changes stance, calls on Rep. Conyers to resign 2:18

Conyers' attorney, however, defiantly rejected Pelosi's calls for his client to resign and insisted no such decision would be coming any time soon.
"It is not up to Nancy Pelosi, Nancy Pelosi did not elect Mr. Conyers," the attorney, Arnold Reed, said at a press conference Thursday in Detroit. "And she sure as hell won't be the one to tell the congressman to leave."
Reed, who said there would be no decision from Conyers about his future on Thursday or Friday, also criticized Pelosi for demanding the lawmaker quit while not doing the same for Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., who is facing a growing number of accusations of sexual misconduct. The Senate Ethics Committee announced on Thursday it had opened an investigation into the sexual misconduct allegations against Franken.
Meanwhile, the highest-ranking African-American Democrat in Congress, Rep. Jim Clyburn of South Carolina, and House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer, of Maryland, both said later Thursday that they felt Conyers should step down.
Clyburn's office confirmed to NBC News that he believes it is in Conyers' best interest to leave, while Hoyer said it was "appropriate for him to resign."
Earlier Thursday, Conyers' political consultant Sam Riddle told WDIV-TV that Conyers had been hospitalized due to stress and he blamed the "media assault" stemming from the allegations against the lawmaker.
"The congressman's health is not what it should be and a lot of that is directly attributable to this media assault," Riddle said, adding that "the reality is these serial accusers have done this before, we're used to it."
Conyers is "resting comfortably in an area hospital, he's doing OK, as well as can be expected for a gentleman that is approaching 90 years of age," Riddle said.
Conyers flew home to Detroit from Washington on Tuesday night, amid pressure from some of his Democratic colleagues to resign from Congress.
Earlier Thursday, a former aide came forward publicly and urged Conyers to admit what he did and apologize.
Marion Brown, a former deputy chief of staff to Conyers, told NBC's "TODAY" show that she decided to go public because she "felt compelled to stand up and speak out, to be a voice behind these allegations that I made."
"All I want from the congressman is to acknowledge what he did and apologize for me, to me, for calling me a liar," Brown said.
