This continually happens and I do believe that the people behind this are also the people who murdered his son! I do believe though that the ultimate aim of this is to destroy his family, get his wife to file for divorce against him! So far she hasn't taken the bait, proving herself to be a woman of true integrity! So now they're going overboard in their attempts to destroy Cosby! As comedy legend Bill Cosby (pictured) continues to sink further in to the infamy of allegations from 30 or so women who are accusing him of past sexual atrocities, veteran Hollywood talent manager Don Gibble is speaking out.

Gibble told The Daily Caller that former model and client Beverly Johnson (pictured), who also claims that Cosby allegedly drugged and assaulted her, lied about her meeting with the media tycoon.

Johnson, who was the first African-American model to grace the cover of Vogue, recounted her allegedly frightening Cosby encounter in Vanity Fair Magazine recently, stating that she met Cosby at his brownstone in New York City after landing a gig on his highly rated “The Cosby Show.”

After chatting a bit, Johnson claims Cosby offered her a cappuccino that was spiked, and after she called Cosby everything but a child of God, he allegedly picked her up, dragged her outside, and flung her in to a cab.

According to Johnson, she is only coming forward now because she wants to encourage other victims to come forward and to tell their stories.

Gibble, who reportedly goes back 20-something years with the striking beauty, claims, however, that he heard the famous Cosby meeting story told several times over by her and not once did she ever mention how Cosby had ever tried to drug her.  As a matter of fact, Gibble contends Johnson told him that Camille, Cosby’s wife of 50-plus years, was present at the non-eventful brunch meeting.

“She said she had brunch with him and his wife, and it was a great experience. And then on ‘The View,’ it flip-flopped,” Gibble said, referring to Johnson’s recent appearance on the popular ABC-TV daytime chatfest.  “It was odd to me that she changed her story. She said [she was] drugged and raped. I just remember that was not the conversation we had. And we had it repeatedly.  It was brunch. It was just one time. It was a typical nice pleasant experience.  It can be easily proven that Camille Cosby was at that brunch, so it was kind of dumb for her to lie.”

Gibble told the news outlet that her personal meeting with Cosby had actually taken place only once.

Johnson also told the former manager that she and Cosby would only run in to each other at functions, such as NAACP affairs. According to Gibble, Johnson even listed Cosby as one of the Hollywood producers that she had a good relationship with and hoped to work with again. “Basically, she only had a good experience with him, so if he had been producing something at that time, I could have easily called that office and gotten her an appointment.”

At least 11 people died and dozens were injured in strong tornadoes that swept through the Dallas area and caused substantial damage this weekend, while 13 people died in flooding in the Midwest.

It was the latest of a succession of powerful weather events across the country, from heavy snow in New Mexico, west Texas and the Oklahoma Panhandle to flooding in parts of the Plains and Midwest. Days of tumultuous weather have led to 43 deaths overall — those in Texas, plus five in Illinois, eight in Missouri and 19 in the Southeast.

The full extent of damage from Saturday's storms along a nearly 40-mile stretch near Dallas came into clear focus. Local officials estimated as many as 1,450 homes were damaged or destroyed in storms that the National Weather Service said produced nine tornadoes. Vehicles were mangled, power lines fell and trees were toppled. Heavy rain, wind and falling temperatures hampered cleanup efforts Sunday afternoon.

"This is a huge impact on our community, and we're all suffering," Garland Police Lt. Pedro Barineau said of the suburb about 20 miles northeast of Dallas, where eight people died, 15 were injured and about 600 structures, mostly single-family homes, were damaged.

The weather service said an EF-4 tornado, which is the second-most powerful with winds up to more than 200 mph, hit the community at about 6:45 p.m. Saturday. It was near the intersection of Interstate 30 and George Bush Turnpike, which is a major route in the region. At least three people who died were found in vehicles, said Barineau, who also noted that some cars appeared to be thrown from the interstate, though it wasn't known whether that was how the people found in the vehicles died.

Natalie Guzman, 33, took photos of her family's home in a Garland neighborhood. The garage wall had collapsed and the roof fell in. The only part of the house that appeared to be spared was the master bathroom, where her brother-in-law took shelter Saturday night. He was the only one at home and told her he had just enough time to get himself and his dogs into the bathroom.

"It was worse than I thought," Guzman said, comparing the scene to the photos he had sent Saturday.

The destruction in Garland was so overwhelming that Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins declared the city a disaster within mere minutes of seeing the toll firsthand.

"I don't declare local disasters lightly," Jenkins said. "But I looked at the scene for 10 minutes, spoke to the incident commander and then called the lawyers to bring the paperwork."

In the nearby town of Rowlett, City Manager Brian Funderburk said Sunday morning that 23 people were injured, but that there were no deaths and no reports of missing people. The weather service said damage indicated it was likely an EF-3 tornado, which has winds up to 165 mph.

Jenkins said in a statement Sunday night that as many as 600 homes were damaged in Rowlett.

Dale Vermurlen lived in a Rowlett neighborhood that sustained heavy damage. His house only had minor damage, but was next to that were flattened.

"I grabbed both dogs by the collars and held on to the toilet. I said, 'OK, this could be it, boys.'"

Homes in the neighborhood that had been searched by emergency responders were marked with a black "X." In some instances, it looked like homes had been picked up and set back down in a big pile. State troopers blocked off roads, utility crews restored power and people walked around, hushed and dazed.

Three other people died in Collin County, about 45 miles northeast of Dallas, according to sheriff's deputy Chris Havey, although the circumstances were not immediately clear.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott made disaster declarations Sunday for four counties — Dallas, Collin, Rockwall and Ellis — and warned that the number of victims could rise.

On the other side of the state, the Department of Public Safety in Amarillo strongly discouraged travel throughout the entire Texas Panhandle — a 26-county area covering nearly 26,000 square miles — because blowing and drifting snow had made the roads impassable. Interstate 40, the main east-west highway across the Panhandle, was almost completely shut down. DPS said only a small section of the highway in Amarillo remained open.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin declared a state of emergency as there were blizzard conditions and an ice storm warning out west and flood warnings in the east, where one community had received 9 inches of rain. The state Department of Emergency Managementsaid eight storm-related injuries were reported. About 60,000 homes and businesses were without power.

In neighboring Arkansas, officials said it appeared that a tornado touched down in Bearden, tearing roofs off buildings and uprooting trees. There were no immediate reports of injuries.

Further north, rain caused dangerous driving conditions and flooding in Missouri, where Gov. Jay Nixon also declared a state of emergency, and Illinois.

Six people died overnight when two separate vehicles drove into flooded roadways in south-central Missouri, Pulaski County Sheriff Ronald Long said. Among them were four international soldiers based at Fort Leonard Wood, he said. Greene County authorities said two fatalities there were associated with the flooding.

In southern Illinois, authorities said three adults and two children drowned Saturday evening when the vehicle they were riding in was swept away and sank in a rain-swollen creek.

The death toll in the Southeast linked to severe weather rose to 19 on Sunday when Alabama authorities found the body of a 22-year-old man whose vehicle was swept away while attempting to cross a bridge; a 5-year-old's body was recovered for that incident Saturday. Ten people have died in Mississippi, and six died in Tennessee. One person was killed in Arkansas.

Philippines Reopens Former U.S. Naval Base Amid Dispute With China

The Philippines decided to reopen the former U.S. naval base in Subic Bay, which was closed for more than 20 years. The move shows that the Philippine government is intensifying its position against China’s expansionism in the disputed South China Sea.

The Philippines and China are currently engaged in a bitter territorial dispute in the South China Sea including a rich fishing shoal near the Subic naval base, which was previously the home of one of the world’s biggest naval facilities of the United States.

The Philippines closed the Subic naval base for military use after its Senate terminated the country’s bases agreement with the United States by the end of the Cold War in 1992. The Philippine government converted the Subic naval base into an economic zone.

Very strategic location

In an interview with Reuters, Defense Undersecretary Pio Lorenzo said the Philippine military signed a 15-year renewable agreement with Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), the operator of the economic zone to use part of the naval base. The Philippine Military and the SBMA signed the agreement in May.

It would be the first time for the Philippines to use the massive installation in Subic as a military base in 23 years. Defense spokesman Peter Galvez said the Philippine government would deploy aircrafts and naval vessels ay Subic Bay.

According to him, the location of the Subic naval base is” very strategic” because it is facing the West Philippine Sea or the South China Sea.

“If we need to deploy to the West Philippine Sea, it [Subic] is already there, we do not deny that. It’s a deepwater port,” said Galvez.

Reopening the Subic naval base for military use will enable the Philippine air force and navy to respond more effectively and quickly to any Chinese activity in the disputed South China Sea, according to security experts.

Rommel Banlaoi, a security expert in the Philippines said, “The value of Subic as a military base was proven by the Americans. Chinese defense planners know that.”

Philippines to spend $23 billion to modernize its military

The Philippines has been strengthening its military relations with the United States, Japan, and Vietnam. The Philippine government also intends to spend $20 billion to modernize its military over the next 13 years.

Last year, the Philippines ordered twelve FA-50 light attack fighters from Korea Aerospace Industries. Two of the FA-50 light attack fighters will be stationed at the former Cubi naval station in Subic Bay early in 2016.

The Philippine military will deploy the full squadron of FA-50s at the Subic naval base. It will also relocate the 5th Fighter Wing from a base in Northern Luzon at the Subic naval base. It will also station naval frigates at the Alava Port in Subic Bay, according to two officials.

According to one of the officials, “There are existing facilities in Subic Bay. We need only to refurbish them.”

Philippines’ dispute against China

The dispute between the Philippines and China started in 2012 when the Philippines apprehended eight Chinese fishing vessels in the Scarborough Shoal. China’s maritime surveillance ships intervened and prevented the Philippine navy from arresting the fishermen in Chinese fishing vessels, who illegally collected corals and caught giant clams and live sharks.

The Chinese government unilaterally implemented a fishing ban in the South China Sea. The Philippines does not recognize the ban. China is claiming a large portion of the South China Sea including the Scarborough Shoal, which is 160 kilometers from the Philippines and 500 miles from China.

The Philippines filed a lawsuit against China in the U.N. tribunal to resolve the territorial dispute in the South China Sea. Beijing refused to participate in the case.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying recently stated that China “will never accept the unilateral attempts to turn to a third party to solve the dispute.” She urged the Philippines to negotiate directly with China.

China is currently building seven artificial islands in the disputed Spratly islands. Some of the artificial islands have military facilities.

Patrick Cronin, a regional expert at the Center for New American Security in Washington, commented that there is a possibility for China to transform the Scarborough Shoal into an artificial island one day. Such move could make it more difficult for the Philippines to protect its 200 nautical miles (370 km) exclusive economic zone off Luzon.

Cronin said, “New Korean-built light fighter aircraft could reach Scarborough Shoal in just minutes, and maritime patrol aircraft or drones could eventually provide persistent coverage of Chinese movements in the area.” He added, “A return to Subic Bay, this time led by the Philippine air force, would seem to be a prudent defensive response.”

On Saturday a Chicago police officer responding to a report of a domestic disturbance shot and killed a black couple, 55 year old Bettie R. Jones and 19 year old Quientonio Legreir. According to NBC Chicago, Jones was a mother of five and Legreir an engineering student at Northern Illinois University. Witnesses report Legreir was threatening a family member with a baseball bat.

BLOUNTSTOWN - A Bristol woman died Monday morning after being arrested and forcibly removed by police from the Calhoun Liberty Hospital where she had gone seeking treatment.

Relatives said 57-year-old Barbara Dawson was possibly mistreated by police and by the hospital staff, who they say refused to provide proper medical care.

The Tallahassee law firm Parks and Crump is representing Dawson's family and plans tofile a lawsuit against the hospital, the Blountstown Police Department, or both. The local NAACP chapter held an emergency meeting on the matter Tuesday afternoon.

On Sunday evening, Dawson complained of stomach pain and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance.

Police: Bristol woman's death due to blood clot

Blountstown Police Chief Mark Mallory said Dawson was admitted to the hospital about 10:30 p.m. Hours later, she was discharged after being treated and cleared by hospital staff.

Dawson, however, felt she needed to remain at the hospital for continued care and told the medical staff she "still was not feeling well," relatives said. The family said the nursing staff then "banned" her from the hospital.

Barbara Dawson: 'She was the momma of us'

After Dawson refused to leave the facility, hospital staff called police about 4:45 a.m. Monday.

"She was causing a disturbance in the hospital with her language and the volume of her voice," Mallory said.

The officer was polite to Dawson, Mallory said, and told her she was free to get medical care, but she had to seek treatment elsewhere. She was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing, handcuffed and escorted out of the hospital.

Relatives reported Dawson requested hospital staff return her oxygen tank because she was having difficulty breathing. However, they said a nurse told Dawson she was breathing fine and did not need it.

While outside, relatives said Dawson again "pleaded for her oxygen" and told the officer not to take her to jail.

As the officer unlocked the door to his patrol car, Dawson collapsed on the ground. The officer then uncuffed her and summoned medical attention, Mallory said. Hospital staff checked her pulse, oxygen and vital signs three times and told the officer she was fine. However, a doctor readmitted her inside the hospital. Three to four staff members placed Dawson, who Mallory estimates weighs more than 270 pounds, onto a gurney.

As they wheeled her into the hospital, Dawson still had a pulse, Mallory said. But by 6:24 a.m., less than two hours later, she was dead. An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday and the police department has launched an investigation.

Relatives dispute the police's version of events. Her aunt Angela Donar was at the scene that night. She said a doctor couldn’t detect a pulse from her niece before she was taken into the hospital.

Relatives also said hospital staff did not attempt CPR until Dawson was back inside the hospital. Photos of the scene taken by a family member show Dawson sitting on the ground and leaning against the police car surrounded by hospital staff and the police officer.

Hospital officials said staff members tried to save Dawson.

"They did their best trying to save her,” said Ruth Attaway, administrator and CEO of the 25-bed hospital. “Our staff was very aggressive with her treatment. They did everything they could.”

Attaway said Dawson had visited the hospital many times in the past. It wasn't the first time there was conflict between Dawson and hospital staff, relatives said. The hospital had called the police on her numerous times and once ordered her off the property when she brought a friend in for treatment, Donar said.

“If they bring her some medicine, she wants to know what it is, what it is for. They just get mad at her,” Donar said. “If she don’t think it’s right, she’s going to tell them and they don’t like that.”

Relatives said Dawson had a long history of breathing problems. She had visited Tallahassee hospitals 22 times since 1987 and had been in and out of other Florida hospitals.

Darryl Parks said his firm will start its own investigation. He did not know what type of lawsuit they plan to file. Parks and Crump has represented black families in other high-profile cases such as the shooting deaths of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown.

Parks said he was “very concerned” about the conduct of hospital staff and the police department. Once law enforcement got involved, he said, medical personnel and the officer did not take proper precautions given Dawson’s medical condition.

“Even the early facts should cause grave concern for her family,” he said, “but also grave concern for the public.”

The Blountstown Police Department is awaiting the results of a Tuesday autopsy to determine the cause of Dawson’s death.

BPD Chief Mark Mallory said no surveillance video exists from the hospital or surrounding buildings.

Dash-cam video footage from the officer’s car doesn’t show the incident occur but does contain audio. That video, along with the police report, will be released before Christmas, Mallory said.

Calhoun Liberty Hospital at-a-glance

Calhoun Liberty Hospital is a small, not-for-profit, critical-access hospital in Blountstown. It’s the primary health care provider for Liberty and Calhoun counties and is crucial to those rural residents since there are only a few doctors offices in the area.  Built in 1960, it has 25 beds and serves about 1,200 emergency room patients each month.  

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the hospital’s former CEO Phillip Hill in connection with a more than $1 million fraud scheme. Hospital officials have accused Hill of creating between 50 and 100 fake invoices formedical supplies the hospital never received.
